A Silvaner with expression, clarity, and typical Franconian minerality. The aroma shows lemongrass, ripe pear, apricot, and green apple, accompanied by grapefruit, almond, and fine herbal spice. Precise and understated, yet complex.
On the palate, the Silvaner is lively, firm, and harmonious: a juicy start, finely integrated acidity, gentle creaminess, and a distinctive, cool minerality that lingers. The wine shows the quiet strength and inner tension typical of the winery's natural Silvaner style.
The grapes come from organically farmed plots around Sulzfeld on shell limestone and calcareous soils. This origin provides the salty precision, herbal spice, and clear stoniness that make Silvaner from Franconia so unmistakable. The Luckerts are among the most renowned Silvaner interpreters in the country, with even their estate wines showing an astonishing amount of terroir.
Harvested selectively by hand, spontaneously fermented, aged in large wooden barrels made of Spessart oak. The long aging on the lees gives the wine structure, depth, and fine creaminess, without masking its puristic character. The minimalistic aging underlines the winery's clear, unadorned style.
An elegant, mineral, and substantial Silvaner estate wine that impressively combines origin and craftsmanship.
