Maustal Silvaner GG - VDP.Weingut Zehnthof Luckert - Organic

A great Silvaner with depth, tension, and clear origin. The over 60-year-old vines are rooted in upper Muschelkalk (shell limestone) and produce a wine that combines power and elegance in remarkable balance.
In the glass, the Silvaner appears clear and cool, with herbaceous notes, hints of mint, ripe yellow fruit, and a fine chalky minerality. The aroma is concentrated, calm, and multi-layered.
On the palate, the wine presents itself as dense, powerful, and precisely structured. The striking minerality of the Muschelkalk provides tension and length, supported by a ripe, well-integrated acidity. The finish is long, salty, and lingering.
The grapes come from the VDP.Grosse Lage Maustal and are spontaneously fermented. The wine is traditionally aged in double-piece barrels, which gives it depth, texture, and inner calm without overshadowing the clarity of its origin. Organically farmed and crafted by hand.
A structured, terroir-driven Silvaner with great aging potential, which impressively demonstrates the class and individuality of this Grand Cru site.
