Hand-picked, spontaneously fermented with vineyard-own yeasts and aged for over 10 months. The unfiltered bottling emphasises the original, reduced aging process and the clear structure of the wine.

The grapes come from selected Deidesheim sites with red sandstone and weathered soils, partly with sand and clay components. These soils shape this wine with mineral tautness, delicate fruit and a precise, straightforward profile. A characterful Ortswein that clearly reveals its origin and naturalness.
