Bright fruit notes of citrus and stone fruit, along with precise acidity and a mineral-salty draw, characterize the wine. On the palate, it comes across as straightforward, fresh, and structured – a characterful Riesling that clearly reveals the terroir of the Paradiesgarten.
A precise, clear Riesling from the single vineyard Deidesheimer Paradiesgarten. Fermented spontaneously with natural vineyard yeasts and aged 80% in large wooden barrels and 20% in stainless steel, it shows freshness, a fine texture, and clear mineral tension.
The Paradiesgarten is located at an altitude of 120–170 m on the edge of the Palatinate Forest and benefits from a cooler, well-ventilated microclimate. The soils, consisting of red sandstone and weathered sandstone, partly with sandy-loamy components, promote minerality, depth, and good drainage. Low yields of approximately 35 hl/ha ensure aromatic density and a clear structure.
