Langenmorgen Deidesheim Riesling trocken - Garage Caveau

The Langemorgen is one of the large, historic Riesling vineyards of the Mittelhaardt. The vineyards are located above Deidesheim and Forst and are characterized by deep soils of calcareous marl, loess, and weathered limestone. This combination gives the wines from Langemorgen their typical balance of power, elegance, and mineral depth. Garage Caveau cultivates the plots in a natural way, with a clear focus on origin and expression.

On the nose, the Riesling is clear and delicate, with citrus fruit, yellow apple, and a hint of white peach, underpinned by cool, stony minerality. On the palate, it is juicy and precise at the same time: lively acidity, fine extract, and a salty core provide tension and length. The fruit remains subtle and elegant, the overall impression balanced and straightforward.

The grapes were selectively hand-picked and spontaneously fermented with yeasts from the vineyard itself. The aging is restrained, without fining or filtration, to preserve the unfiltered characteristics of the site.
