A profound, tightly structured Riesling from a great vineyard site, shaped by time, tranquility, and clear origin. The 24 months of lees aging lend the wine additional depth, structure, and high development potential.
On the nose, the Riesling is complex and reserved, with slightly nutty, dried-herbal, and delicately yeasty hints. These are complemented by tart yellow fruit, yellow spice, and fine herbal notes, even a hint of fennel. A pronounced mineral coolness runs through the entire aromatic profile.
On the palate, the wine is bone dry, firm, and precise. The fruit remains understated and is accompanied by herbal nuances. A fine, present acidity and noticeable tannic grip provide structure and tension. The finish is long, mineral-driven, and currently still closed, indicating great aging potential.
After spontaneous fermentation, the wine matured on its lees for 24 months, which gives it depth, texture, and inner calm without losing its clarity.
An elegant, focused Riesling with depth and substance that will continue to develop over years.
