A rosé with character, depth, and an extraordinary story. Rosarot was created as a collaborative project within the VDP solidarity community – driven by artisanal precision, trust, and the will to break new ground.

The Pinot Noir grapes come from VDP.Weingut Kranz in Ilbesheim (Pfalz) and were pressed there exactly according to Martin Schwarz's specifications. The must was then brought to Meißen, where it received its distinctive stylistic character. Thus, this wine unites two regions and two signatures into a new, shared expression.

Fermentation took place in used 500-liter wooden barrels, in which the wine then matured for about four and a half months. To deepen the structure and substance, 500 liters of Pinot Noir red wine were added – a deliberate intervention that gives the rosé additional depth, texture, and complexity. The aging in wood remains delicate and supportive, never dominant.

In the glass, the rosé appears juicy, clear, and structured, with notes of red berry, light cherry, and subtle spice. The fruit seems precise and calm, supported by freshness and a subtle tannin structure that gives the wine grip and length.

On the palate, Rosarot presents itself as dry, exciting, and distinctive. The combination of rosé and red wine gives it more body and depth than a classic rosé, without losing its drinkability. A wine between styles – deliberately beyond conventions.

A characterful rosé with substance, born from collaboration, craftsmanship, and mutual trust – Saxon-Palatinate, distinctive, and clearly positioned.
