A fine-bubbled Crémant with great depth and elegance. The nose reveals ripe apple and citrus aromas, combined with brioche, bread crust, and subtle roasted notes reminiscent of freshly baked yeast pastries. In addition, fine yeast notes and an elegant yeast pastry spice join in, lending the sparkling wine its complexity and character.
On the palate, a lively, zesty acidity combines with a creamy texture and clear structure. The fine perlage carries aromas of fresh pastry, citrus, and ripe fruit, ending in a long, lively, mineral-fine finish. Despite its power, the Crémant appears fresh and finessed — a sparkling wine that avoids sweetness and freshness, opting instead for elegance and provenance.
The grapes were hand-picked in mid-September 2019 and gently pressed. The base wine fermented in stainless steel and barrique barrels and matured until bottling the following year. This was followed by classic bottle fermentation (Méthode traditionnelle) with 36 months of aging on the lees before the sparkling wine was disgorged and bottled as Brut Nature without dosage.
