The vines for this Pinot Blanc are over 35 years old and are rooted in calcareous marl soil in the Palatinate region. The very low yield of only 25 hl/ha ensures high concentration and depth and underlines the winery's consistently quality-oriented approach.
The wine is complex and multifaceted, with fine aromas of ripe pear, white blossoms, and subtle vegetal notes. On the palate, it is full-bodied and precisely structured, with calm power, fine creaminess, and a long, elegant finish. The balance between fruit, structure, and minerality gives the wine great clarity and aging potential.
The grapes were selectively hand-picked, spontaneously fermented with natural yeasts, and aged in used barriques. The careful use of wood supports texture and depth without masking the expression of its origin.
A structured Pinot Blanc that clearly reflects its origin, the maturity of the vines, and the precise signature of Weingut Andres.
